Ongoing projects
Here, you'll discover the heart of our mission – a dedication to advancing women's rights and nurturing interfaith understanding, making positive change a reality.
Sahur Keliling
Sahur Keliling is an annual program that we organize since 2000. Every year, we collaborate with hundreds of partners from local organizations across Indonesia in conducting multi-identities meeting, cultural events, and dialogues for celebrating our diversity, and pushing inclusion for everyone to be cherished.
FGM/C socialization
We work alongside the UNFPA and the Ministry for Women Empowerment and Child Protection to eliminate FGM/C. Here we conduct socialization workshops with Muslim leaders on the religious and health arguments against FGM/C, and conduct Islamic text study groups. Further, we liaise with journalists and do advocacy with the government.
Study of Islamic texts
We are one of the pioneers in Indonesia's religious-based movement and scholarship in reinterpreting, re-reading, and reproducing religious narratives that are navigated through the lenses of inclusion, women rights, protection to marginalized communities, human rights, and universal humanity in general.
Interfaith dialogue
We are dedicated to promote interfaith and intra-faith dialogues where diversity of faiths and intra-faiths is respected. Through the grassroot engagement with local faith leaders and collectives, we have been working tirelessly in ensuring that the voices of diverse faiths are amplified, and that solidarity beyond diversity is promoted along with the strong nurturance through empathy and compassion.
